Hey there! I'm Shreyas Khaitan — a student with an insatiable passion for mathematics, music, and discovering how the world works. I believe that curiosity is the greatest gift anyone can have.
What makes me a little different? I completed the IGCSE Mathematics exam — a qualification typically taken by 15–16 year olds — when I was just in 5th grade, scoring an incredible 97%. Numbers have always felt like a second language to me.
When I'm not solving equations, you'll find me at the piano, creating music that speaks what words can't. Every scale, every chord — it's discipline and art at once.
Some things are worth saying out loud: I aced a 10th grade
mathematics exam — 6 years before I was supposed to.
The IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) Mathematics
examination is a globally recognized qualification administered by Cambridge Assessment
International Education. It is designed for students in Year 10–11 (ages 15–16)
and is widely considered a gold standard in international secondary mathematics.
I sat this examination while in 5th grade — approximately six full academic
years ahead of the standard timeline — and achieved a score of 97%.
This places me in the top tier of all candidates worldwide, regardless of age. It is a testament
to an extraordinary ability to absorb, understand, and apply advanced mathematical concepts
far beyond typical grade-level expectations.
"Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computations, or algorithms — it is about understanding."
The piano is where mathematics meets art. Every chord is a ratio, every rhythm a fraction, every melody a sequence — and I am fascinated by all of it.
Playing the piano has taught me patience, discipline, and the joy of creating something beautiful from nothing but sound and silence. It is my creative sanctuary.
"Music is the arithmetic of sounds as optics is the geometry of light."
I love how the piano demands both precision and feeling — much like mathematics demands both logic and intuition.
Genesis Global School is where I grow not just academically, but as a person. It's a place that encourages curiosity, creativity, and collaboration — values that shape everything I do. The school has been a wonderful environment that nurtures exceptional talent alongside holistic development, and I am grateful for every lesson, challenge, and opportunity it has offered me.

I'm always happy to hear from curious minds.
