A little bit
about me

Hey there! I'm Shreyas Khaitan — a student with an insatiable passion for mathematics, music, and discovering how the world works. I believe that curiosity is the greatest gift anyone can have.

What makes me a little different? I completed the IGCSE Mathematics exam — a qualification typically taken by 15–16 year olds — when I was just in 5th grade, scoring an incredible 97%. Numbers have always felt like a second language to me.

When I'm not solving equations, you'll find me at the piano, creating music that speaks what words can't. Every scale, every chord — it's discipline and art at once.

Mathematical Prodigy

Some things are worth saying out loud: I aced a 10th grade
mathematics exam — 6 years before I was supposed to.

🏆
Exceptional Academic Achievement
IGCSE Mathematics Examination

The IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) Mathematics examination is a globally recognized qualification administered by Cambridge Assessment International Education. It is designed for students in Year 10–11 (ages 15–16) and is widely considered a gold standard in international secondary mathematics.

I sat this examination while in 5th grade — approximately six full academic years ahead of the standard timeline — and achieved a score of 97%. This places me in the top tier of all candidates worldwide, regardless of age. It is a testament to an extraordinary ability to absorb, understand, and apply advanced mathematical concepts far beyond typical grade-level expectations.

The Story so far

Early Years
Discovered a Love for Learning Foundation
From a very young age, I showed an unusual curiosity about numbers, patterns, and how things work. While other kids were learning to count, I was already exploring multiplication and beyond.
Piano Journey
Began the Piano Music
I fell in love with the piano — discovering that mathematics and music share a deep, beautiful relationship. Scales, rhythm, harmony — it's all structured like an equation waiting to be solved.
Genesis Global School
Joined Genesis Global School Academic
Enrolled at Genesis Global School, where I continue to grow academically and as a person. The school's environment of curiosity and collaboration has been the perfect backdrop for my continued journey.
Grade 5
IGCSE Mathematics — 97% ⭐ Prodigy
I sat and passed the Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics examination — a 10th grade qualification — scoring an outstanding 97%. This achievement placed me six academic years ahead of peers my age and is recognized globally as a mark of exceptional mathematical talent.

Keys, Notes
& Soul

The piano is where mathematics meets art. Every chord is a ratio, every rhythm a fraction, every melody a sequence — and I am fascinated by all of it.

Playing the piano has taught me patience, discipline, and the joy of creating something beautiful from nothing but sound and silence. It is my creative sanctuary.

"Music is the arithmetic of sounds as optics is the geometry of light."

I love how the piano demands both precision and feeling — much like mathematics demands both logic and intuition.

Genesis Global School is where I grow not just academically, but as a person. It's a place that encourages curiosity, creativity, and collaboration — values that shape everything I do. The school has been a wonderful environment that nurtures exceptional talent alongside holistic development, and I am grateful for every lesson, challenge, and opportunity it has offered me.

🧮
Mathematics
My strongest subject — I completed IGCSE Mathematics (10th grade equivalent) in 5th grade with 97%. Numbers have always been a language I speak fluently.
🔬
Science
Physics, chemistry and biology — understanding the laws and systems that make up our universe is endlessly fascinating to me.
🎵
Music
Piano performance, music theory and composition. Music at school is both a class and a calling — I bring my best to every practice session.

01 🧮
6 Years Ahead
The IGCSE exam I passed in 5th grade is not taught to most students until they are 15–16 years old. I sat it approximately six full academic years before schedule.
02 🎹
Math Meets Music
Music and mathematics share a deep connection — from Fibonacci sequences in musical composition to the physics of sound frequencies. The piano is where my two passions meet.
03 🌐
Global Recognition
Cambridge IGCSE is recognised by universities and employers worldwide. Passing at age 9–10 places me among an extraordinarily rare group of young mathematicians globally.
04 🎮
Games & Strategy
I believe strategic gaming sharpens the mind. Pattern recognition, spatial reasoning, and forward planning — the same skills that make a great chess player also make a great mathematician.
05
Content Creator
I launched a YouTube channel to share my world with others. I believe knowledge shared is knowledge multiplied — and creating content is one of the most rewarding things I do.
06 💡
Always Curious
My favourite question is "why?" — not just in mathematics, but in everything. Why does music make us feel emotions? Why does physics work the way it does? Curiosity is my superpower.
